Wit licht (2008)

Today I went to the screening of the movie Wit Licht (White Light). The movie can be seen as one of the better Dutch movies.It’s about Eduard Zuiderwijk (Marco Borsato) who lives in Uganda,runs his own restaurant and is very successful.After his wife dies and the political situation in the country isn’t stabile anymore,things get really hard for him.After the friend of his son is abducted by the rebels to be a child soldier, he tries to do everything to find the boy. At many points it’s really convincing and the camera work was just great.The debut of singer Marco Borsato was also very well.The duration of the movie could be shorter,but the emotional and hard events in the movie can let you forget it.
