‘Not Quite Human’ is a family film about a single father who builds a teenage son named Chip. Chip is awkward as he tries to mingle with the real teenage boys, and little does Chip know that there is a plot by a large toy company to kidnap him. The film is packed with action and humour, and you cannot help but to feel sorry for the characters, especially poor Chip as he tries to fit in to society and fails miserably. I have not seen this film in years, but it used to be shown several times on the Disney channel. I think that this film is easy for teenagers to relate to, especially those who are a little bit awkward themselves and bullied at school. It is just a fun film, and it is one that seems to have become lost.
