This shocking urban crime drama is based on a true American incident which occurred in the 1980’s under President Reagan’s Administration. As Central America was being ravaged in horrifying civil wars, a corrupt branch of the U.S. Government(CIA) enlisted a group of young African-Americans to bring drugs back into their South Central L.A. ghetto to sell to fund the war in Central America. A tragic and nearly unbelievable recounting of exploitation and inequality, 100 KILOS packs as much of a political punch as a dramatic one.
